When can I change the registration number?
You can change the registration number at any time before departure, as long as you have not yet completed any of the journeys included in the booking.
Is there a cost to change the registration number?
No. Changing the registration number is free of charge if the same vehicle is kept, without changing the make or model.
When can’t I do it from My Bookings?
You will not be able to manage the change independently if:
- You need to change the make or model of the vehicle.
- The change involves a re-pricing of the booking.
- You have already completed any of the journeys in the booking.
If the make or model also changes
If the change is not only of the registration number but also affects the make or model of the vehicle, a re-pricing may occur. In that case, you should contact Baleària Canarias to manage the modification.
Important before boarding
Check that the vehicle’s registration number matches the one indicated in your booking before going to the port. If the details do not match, boarding cannot be guaranteed.
