If you are travelling with a car, motorbike, van or caravan on Baleària Canarias, check before boarding that both the reservation and the vehicle documentation are correct.
Before arriving at the port
- Check that the vehicle documentation and insurance are valid.
- Verify that the vehicle included in the ticket is the same as the one you are going to board with.
- Make sure that the length and height of the vehicle match those indicated in the reservation.
If the vehicle details do not match those of the reservation, boarding cannot be guaranteed.
Upon arrival at the port
Go to the vehicle boarding area with the advance notice indicated on your ticket.
Port staff will direct you to the appropriate access and guide you to park the vehicle in the ship’s hold.
Who can board inside the vehicle?
By port regulations, at the time of boarding normally only the driver may access the ship inside the vehicle.
The rest of the passengers must board through the designated pedestrian accesses, unless port staff or Baleària Canarias personnel indicate otherwise.
During the crossing
During the journey, the ship’s hold will remain closed and it will not be possible to access the vehicle.
We recommend taking before boarding everything you may need during the crossing, such as documentation, medication, electronic devices, baby food or any important personal items.

- Arrive at the port with the advance notice indicated on your ticket.
- Have the passenger and vehicle documentation ready.
- Always follow the instructions of port staff and crew.
- Do not leave inside the vehicle any items you may need during the journey.
